Billtrust Selects West Sacramento for First West Coast Facility

Sacramento, Calif., May 13, 2009 - The Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization (SACTO) and the City of West Sacramento jointly announced today that Billtrust, a leading provider of comprehensive outsourced billing solutions, has chosen the City of West Sacramento for its first West Coast facility. Billtrust recently signed a lease with Century Management Company for 10,000 square feet of industrial space at 545 Jefferson Boulevard and will begin operations in September 2009.

Headquartered in Jamesburg, New Jersey, Billtrust provides state-of-the-art paper and electronic bill delivery services for both the B2B and B2C markets. Billtrust’s services are being used by hundreds of companies to deliver significant savings on the cost of sending their invoices and statements. They help companies double their savings by migrating bill recipients to email and online delivery, benefiting both their customers and the environment. Founded in 2001, Billtrust was recently recognized as a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Company and has been an Inc. 500 company in 2007 and 2008. The new Billtrust facility will employ approximately 20 people when fully operational. The City of West Sacramento was chosen for its proximity to the regional U.S. Postal Service hub, relative affordability, and business-friendly location and California Enterprise Zone.

“We are pleased to welcome a fast-growing industry leader like Billtrust to the Sacramento Region. Attracting companies of this caliber has significant impact on our regional economy, and their paperless billing “green” practices support regional sustainability efforts,” stated Toosje Koll, SACTO Chair.

“West Sacramento is proud to be selected by Billtrust for this expansion. Billtrust has pioneered leading e-commerce technology that has earned them strong growth and industry recognition. We look forward to supporting their business expansion in West Sacramento and the region," said Mayor Christopher L. Cabaldon.

SACTO would like to thank Diane Richards from the City of West Sacramento, Keith Tochterman from TRI Commercial, Keith Galliano from Century Management Company and all of those representatives from the city, region and state that have and will continue to assist Billtrust as it ramps up operations.
